Current Events
The Russian/Ukraine war has been dominating the news this month. Gas and food prices are on the rise. Ketanji Brown Jackson has been nominated for the U.S. Supreme Court. The two former devastating events and the latter historical event have made it hard to focus on creativity.
On the lighter side, our routines are getting more back to normal since the Covid-19 pandemic started in 2020. We got to attend three outdoor shows: The 2022 RV Show, The 2022 Off-Road Show, and The 2022 Sportsman’s Outdoor Expo.. And we’ve uncovered the motor home this month hoping the last of the big snowfalls are over. We are ready to get this spring party started!
Spring cleaning, inside and outside, is taking a front row seat on our priority list. Washing away the winter grime on the windows and re-installing the screens makes the view of my world a brighter place. Crocuses, tulips, and daffodils are rearing their colorful faces and now the flower beds need to be turned over. The last of the snow has melted and temps are rising. Broken tree limbs and dead leaves left over from the winter have been trimmed and picked up. The mower took a quick spin through the yard to pick up anything else left behind. Green grass, we’re ready for you. March really did come in like a lion, and is now going out like a baby lamb. Bring on the warm weather!
We are still working on new things for the market this summer. It looks like we did get the weekends we picked. Once Daybreak gets their vendor information together, I will post the dates.
In the meantime, we needed to get outside and take a Razor ride across the street and into the mountains for some enjoyment. We are so blessed to live where we do and never take it granted.
Until next time, get outside and enjoy your spring!
God Bless and be happy.
